About Divyang

Vision:

An inclusive community that supports children and young adults with diverse special needs to gain access to education, training, and social programs; empowers them for full community integration to lead a secure, productive, and independent life; and gain sustainable employment.

In Sanskrit Divyang means Divya = divine & Anga = Body. Divyang is a Hindi word which means the one with a divine body.

Dignity, Inclusion, and empowerment are the core values of our community. Divyang is making progress towards a fullness of time for all individuals by developing a world wealthy in diverse abilities and thoughts.

» Provide a platform for parents and guardians of people with neuro-diverse needs to access information, resources etc. so that they can effectively use the special needs systems and resources.
» Provide a platform for people with neuro-diverse needs to have a good quality of life by the development of essential skills, knowledge, and values through educational, emotional and recreational support.
» Work with communities to increase awareness and respect for people with neuro-diverse needs through social, vocational, and educational connections.
» Provide a platform for people with neuro-diverse needs to prepare them for further education, training and sustainable employment.
